This past Mother’s Day, Daily Hope was honored to sponsor Comfort for a Woman’s Heart, a special gathering led by Kay Warren for women carrying deep grief and loss.
The event created a safe and welcoming place for women who have experienced the loss of a child or parent, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, widowhood, estrangement, and other painful forms of grief. Through worship, prayer, personal reflection, and honest conversations, women were reminded they are not alone in what they’re going through.
Kay shared openly from her own journey through grief, speaking honestly about wrestling with God through suffering and learning to trust him in deeper ways. Her vulnerability reminded women that they don’t have to hide their pain from God.
Using the picture of “planting tears” and waiting for a future harvest, Kay encouraged women to trust that God is still at work even in seasons of sorrow. She reminded them that grief can grow compassion for others, shift our perspective on what truly matters, and draw us into a closer relationship with Jesus.
Through Daily Hope, events like Comfort for a Woman’s Heart are bringing biblical hope, encouragement, and healing to people during life’s most difficult seasons.
