We recently heard from one of our Daily Hope ministry partners in Ukraine, and we wanted to share a glimpse of what’s happening on the ground.
Much of their work right now is focused on wounded soldiers in local hospitals—men facing deep physical and emotional pain. Several days each week, a small team of volunteers visits them with food, water, clothing, and Bibles, offering practical care along with encouragement from God’s Word and prayer. Even after attacks left many without power for long stretches in freezing temperatures, the team kept going back.
Many of these soldiers are also wrestling with a deep loss of purpose after being wounded. In those moments, the chance to speak hope and truth into their lives can make a real difference.
The team is also caring for families who have lost loved ones in the war, including widows and children. Throughout the week, they spend time with these families—organizing gatherings, offering support, and simply being present. They’ve hosted special moments like concerts for grieving families and time with children where they’ve given Christmas gifts and Bibles.
Through it all, they’re bringing comfort and helping people know they’re not alone—that God sees them and loves them deeply.
Our ministry partners shared how grateful they are—and it’s a reminder of the difference you’re making through Daily Hope, especially in people’s hardest moments.
