In Luke, the angel said, “For behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people” (Luke 2:10 NKJV). To “behold” means to hold something in focus for an extended period of time—to pay attention. Sadly, at Christmas many people behold trivial things, while giving God only a glance.
